State support for insurance of agricultural producers has started in Ukraine
By its resolution dated December 31, 2025, the Government of Ukraine regulated the rules for providing state support for insurance of agricultural products, including in front-line territories.
As the UkrStrahuvannya internet resource learned from the press release of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the resolution “On amendments to the procedure for providing state support for insurance of agricultural products” provides compensation of up to 60% of the amount of insurance premiums for agricultural producers working in frontline communities and up to 45% for other agricultural producers.
For the implementation of this initiative, the State Budget of Ukraine has allocated UAH 60 million for the support of agricultural insurance for the first time.
In order to receive compensation, mandatory registration in the State Agrarian Register and verification of agricultural producers for the absence of sanctions lists and any connections with residents of the Russian Federation, Belarus and other risky jurisdictions is provided.
To date, the companies that have received the approval of the NBU for agricultural insurance with state support are SC “INGO” and SC “Universalna”. “The list of insurance companies is expected to grow,” the press release says.
