There are 107 insurers and 55 insurance brokers working in Ukraine
The National Bank of Ukraine published a new report on the quantitative composition of the market of non-banking financial institutions for November 2023.
According to the NBU, in the reporting month, the market of non-bank financial institutions of Ukraine decreased by 28 companies, including 9 financial companies, 2 insurers, 8 pawnbrokers, 1 leasing company and 2 insurance brokers who left the market. At the same time, in November, the market was replenished with 1 collection and 1 financial company.
Thus, as of December 1, 2023, there are 1,177 non-bank financial institutions (companies), including 107 insurers and 55 insurance brokers, operating in Ukraine.
The UkrStrahuvannya Internet resource knows that the National Bank of Ukraine received 304 requests for registration and licensing actions. The number of requests from financial companies, pawnshops and lessors was 176. The number of requests for banks – 25, credit unions and collection companies – 10, insurers – 91, payment institutions – 2.
Previously, it was reported that “Taste-garantia” and “Megapolis” insurance companies were excluded from the State Register.
